Listened in the form of the Re:Dracula podcast. Very fun audio drama and an enjoyable format for the story to be told.

For a classic it is not too difficult to read, I’d say it’s around a medium challenge-wise some words might be unfamiliar to modern readers but mostly not difficult to understand with context. The characters are all really interesting, and the friendships that form add brightness to the gothic horror. It’s so worth reading even if you feel like you already know the story.

After a certain point the pov of the only character I am interested in just does not come up for 150 ish pages so I lost interest. Love the writing and the idea though, I just did not connect with any other characters enough to care.
Will probably return to it when I am done with the books I am more excited to read
