Such a marvelous reading. I was completely mesmerized by Stoker’s writing, deeply enchanted by his universe. I found myself madly in love with his characters. I only regret that the 50 last pages seemed so long to read. But I enjoyed every single part of my reading.

I’m glad I read it but this was a tough read….just soooo slow. Wishing the author left something for the imagination instead of overly detailing everything. Absolutely loved the chapter regarding the ship captain and the fear on board the ship as men were disappearing!

I was never able to finish this book (nor appreciate it) when I was younger, but I have found that Dracula is written quite well, and it was a perfect book to read in October. The story and characters are both believable and entertaining, and I would recommend this book to anyone who may be a fan of horror or classic vampire tails.
