DNF. I was excited to read this classic, but I found it extremely hard to get through. I constantly found myself becoming bored, and reading other books in-between chapters of this. The first part of the book was interesting, and it was a unique choice to tell the story through journal entries, but the story seemed to drag on and could not hold my attention. Maybe once day I will return and finish it.

I was honestly surprised by just how much I LOVED this book. The format (journal entries and letters) was quite foreign at first, but the story still flowed beautifully. I adored the characters (Quincy was an absolute delight) and was fully invested in them. This is a definite reread for me.
