Gothic atmosphere, late 1800s setting, interesting characters, mysterious antagonist.
Way different from what the various modern day interpretations would lead me to believe. I really appreciated the POVs of the various characters expressed through diary entries.

I love what has been influenced from this book and the first 1/4 of pages but man was the rest a slog and repetitive. I am grateful for it but wish the execution was way better.

This was my first time reading Dracula and I was surprised to find it all in journal form. There were parts of the story that dragged but it’s a great story.
