Once again, the cast and crew knocked this performance out of the park. Absolutely no notes, they did amazing. The story itself, however, left a lot to be desired. I liked how it ended, but the path it took to get there felt so convoluted.
The boat scene was so confusing, it felt like it just came out of nowhere! And Bryce’s “smart” plan was to go try to sell herself to Sandriel and give up her only means of protection??? It would have made more sense if she simply tried to buy Hunt while she enlisted others to help her kill Sandriel. Honestly, I thought she’d at least try to use the god slayer to kill her first? But yah, sell yourself to the sadistic archangel, super smart. Ok rant over.
 
SJM gives us more punches in the feels
hope they at least go find Vic in the depths next book, that seemed to be hinted at by the blue court offering aid?
There were still some wonderful things about the book that I really enjoyed, and obviously I couldn’t stop listening since I finished it in about a day. Hoping the next book is good, but waiting for the audio from GraphicAudio because they make everything worth it.

I’m glad I gave it another shot. I’m not sure if I want to continue with the series or not, though.

The Graphic Audio production is well done. Enjoyed the cast and sound effects.
