This was interesting and enjoyable and I liked seeing how the paths of the boy and the older man cross and how they affect each other's lives without ever directly speaking to each other. The writing style is easy to follow and yet old-fashioned and the story meanders a bit but it's a quick, nice read.

Geschichte eines Jungen, der gelegentlich einem alten Mann begegnet, der ziellos durch das Dorf läuft. Ohne wirkliche Handlung oder Spannung, mit einer anstrengenden Schreibweise. Keine tiefergründige Botschaft oder ähniles, nur eine sehr langweilige Geschichte über das Leben des Jungen, mit den Zusammentreffen des alten Mannes, bis dieser in einen See läuft und ertrinkt.
