7% in and I could not handle all the talk of male genitals. It was not for me.

I loved this book. The main character Faye was so quirky and complex. I really loved reading about her. I’m also really glad the author made this book from two perspectives. I liked to see Greg’s point of view as he is learning to be a person again after losing his memories. Overall, the best part of the book was the learning of Jewish culture and everything that was involved with that. It was just such an intriguing and awesome part of the story and I loved learning about it.

I wanted to love this, since Kissing Kosher was such a hit for me, but it was just fine. I didn’t find myself invested in any character and while the story was constantly evolving, I just didn’t seem to care all that much.
It was cute and unique, and I always appreciate learning more about Judaism, but ultimately it was just fine.

This was… fine. I think I didn’t click with the writing style, mostly. I enjoyed the overall plot, I found it believable that the main characters end up together, and learning about Jewish magic practices was interesting. But nothing about this book ever really excited me, and pieces of it were extremely repetitive.
