This is book is all about going through and completing a journey. It shows how much a person can change and evolve over a course of time. It shows the change of familal relationships, life views, personalities and the lessons learnt along the way. It is lighthearted, but it also touches some bigger topics. It can make someone hopeful about themselves through these characters’s experiences and stories. The series has come a long way with this.

I will NOT be taking any criticisms about Richard Connor Cobalt ever. He is perfect.
Now can Daisy get a happy ending? Damn! This girl has been through way too much.

I didn’t even know I missed this series until I started reading this book. Bro, I actually missed these characters, what the fuck????? They feel way too real. I should be able to go onto Instagram and search their names and they’ll be there. BUT THEY WON’T, BECAUSE THEY’RE FICTIONAL.

Loved this book. It definitely put me through the ringer. There were moments where I almost cried and moments where I was so angry I thought I’d throw the book (I’m talking about you, Scott).

NAH. The amount of homophobia in this book was so unexpected. I knew that Connor liked both men and women, but I didn’t expect it to be such a massive part of this book. Fuck everyone in this book that tried to make Connor suppress his sexuality.

I’m so glad I picked this series up again.

Secure your family. At whatever cost. It would take the impossible to injure Connor Cobalt for even a second. At the age of twenty-six, his narcissistic traits have created place for the people he cares about. He also adores Rose. But what happens when his love is attacked, when his highest hopes for her are jeopardized?

For the first time in his life, love will control his decisions.

So far, this is the best book in the Addictedverse. It was accomplished perfectly, the narrative was great, and seeing Connor and Rose's emotional development was very soothing. The characters got more endearing and lovable. The pacing was slow at first, which made me bored, but it was all worth it in the end.
