To begin with, this book was a little slow but after about 15% it picked up.

I loved Lark, Juniper and Cove. They may not be blood but they are still sisters and their personalities are great. Cerulean is written really well. One minute I don't like him and the next I'm encouraging his antics 😂.

The pacing was pretty good and it only took me about 6 hours to finish. I did finish it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down.

I loved the world building. It was detailed without having info dumps or being boring or repetitive. I would've liked reading chapters from Cerulean's POV. Although there was a small one at the end, I think more throughout the book would've been better.

The tension between Lark and Cerulean was palpable and it was only a matter of time before they gave in to their desires. One plot twist was very obvious but that didn't stop me from enjoying the lead up to the reveal.

I really look forward to reading the next book and finding out what happened to Lark's sister, Juniper and what challenges she faces.

It had a decent storyline. Good spice, with a couple open door scenes. Interesting enough that I will read the next book

Kiss the Fae Review

I really enjoyed this book! The fated mates trope always gets me! This book had a very interesting story line and I was not expecting a lot of the twists and turns and it melts me on my toes and that pages turning! The spice in this book was great it had great slow burn for the first 2/3rds of the book then once it heated up IT BURNED! I really enjoyed how comfortable the MC was with sex and being in her own body and her confidence. Definitely can’t wait to start book 2!!

This book was a new experience for me mostly because of the language the author used but it was a nice story overall. I loved the story between the Lark and the Owl, it felt natural like it all makes sense in a way - the love confession made lot of sense, I didn't felt that anything is rushed. I loved how strong the FMC was and I adored her love for her family, and I loved the longing of the MMC even tho he himself didn't knew why he was longing in the first place. I loved Lark's story but I don't think Juniper and Puck's going to have that connection which this book's FMC & MMC had so I won't read the second book as I want this book's couple to remain superior in front of my eyes and also I don't have the strength to go through another book with weird language even tho I liked that in this book(Ik it doesn't make sense but it is as it is)
