This was a great book! AJ Jacobs chronicles his experiences reading the Encyclopedia Britannica, however, this is far from simply a retelling of this reference book. Instead he adds charming anecdotes about his own life, his troubled relationship with his father and brother-in-law, his and his wife's struggles with infertility, and his own issues with self confidence. He is a charming man, both witty and bright, making this a delightful memoir. I highly recommend it to everyone, however, you should know that he does have a "colorful" vocabulary.

Immersion journalism, memoir, and random facts all tied up with witty, self-deprecating humor. It was great.
