There’s truly nothing like an Agatha Christie mystery. Five Little Pigs brings readers back into the world of the incomparable Hercule Poirot, and what stood out most to me was the novel’s clever structure. In the second part of the book, the events of the murder are retold through five different perspectives, each from someone present at the scene. This format was utterly captivating, as I found myself eagerly piecing together the inconsistencies to solve the case. Of course, Christie outsmarted me once again with her signature red herrings, and Poirot’s final reveal was as precise as it was entertaining. Bravo to the queen of the mystery genre; she quite literally never disappoints.

This was my first Agatha Christie book and I wasn’t disappointed. I had such a fun time with this playing along and trying myself to see if I could figure out whodunnit! And I was right!!

This was so much fun, I loved Agatha’s writing style. It was just gripping and such an easy read. I almost didn’t get the culprit, Agatha certainly knocked me off course a little.

I can’t wait to read more of her books! I loved it!

This was actually a brilliant story and I loved seeing Poirot attack a case that was 16 years old. I thought I knew the solution for once but I was only grasping a bit of it!

Unfortunately the reading experience was a bit tiring because everything was repeated so many times (which I get was unavoidable).
