Another Awesome one for the series..

Loved Daisy and West’s story!! I loved West’s family and really laughed when they all filed into her office calling out their froyo orders.. the only thing that was kinda annoying to me was how everything seemed to be inspired by man parts.. “D” shaped pool.. crystal “Ds” everywhere.. I also felt that the description of her house was crazy. I thought of something out of Willy Wonka vs some mansion in Bluewater owned by a Vagillionaire.. I LOVED the story layout but I could have gotten the hint that she was a party girl fine without all the random room themes and crazy trampoline park room.

Crazy for loving you

This is my first read by this author. It was a fun romantic comedy with a happy ending. Very much enjoyed this book.

Family. Fun. Friendship. This is what I want every day for the rest of my life.

This is such a heartwarming story about what happens when two unlikely strangers are left to co-parent an orphaned baby. Sure the premise is slightly ridiculous (but this is Pippa Grant so slightly ridiculous is in her wheelhouse) but the love that forms between Daisy and West is anything but. This is a beautiful story and I loved every moment.

There’s a lot of crazy zaniness going on in this book which is much like Pippa Grant’s other book I’ve read. I love West, he’s an easy character to understand....what you see is what you get. Daisy on the other hand is every color imaginable and therefore a little harder for me to understand but by the end I got who she was. Loved this series!

Although there were some funny moments, I found a lot of this book annoying.

The book starts with Daisy’s cousin’s funeral, which no one was sad about because everyone hated her. When the description said that Daisy inherited a baby along with a Marine, I didn’t think it would be quite like this – the cousin decided that this random stranger (West), whose company she gave a one star review for, should be her baby’s guardian in case she dies. The rest of the book is them co-parenting without really talking to each other because their attraction is oh so strong and they just can’t be together (there was no real reason though).

There were some small things that I liked in this book, but they just couldn’t overcome all the annoying things that happened. I liked how West stands up to Imogen (even though those scenes were short), and I liked Daisy doing the nice things without making it into a PR thing.

I didn’t really like anything about Daisy or West. West might have been fine (even though he wasn’t as rigid as the description makes him out to be), but I couldn’t stand his POV with his talking balls or nuts or whatever else he called them. Also, as expected, he quickly starts liking Daisy and I just didn’t understand why, so it was another thing I didn’t like about his POV. The author clearly wants the reader to sympathise with Daisy and make it seem like she’s just misunderstood and actually she’s smart and successful and all of that. I didn’t see anything that would make me think that. Even though I like the nice things Daisy would do, by the end of the book it started feeling superficial and like the author was only including it to make Daisy seem like the most selfless person in the world. There are a few scenes where it says that she’s going to a meeting or something, but you never see her so called genius/what makes her successful so that felt fake too. The thing with the allergy just made it seem like she was an idiot.

There were some side characters, and out of all of them I might have liked West’s family the most because there was a funny group chat, and they weren’t shown in enough scenes for the characters to be ruined. Also, I didn’t buy Imogen’s sudden character change that supposedly happened at the end.

The ending was predictable in the worst way possible –
Daisy decides that she’s going to be an awful parent so before that can happen, she dumps West and signs over her parental rights to West
. I hated it.

After finishing this series, it’s making me doubt my rating for the first book (4 stars). I don’t think I’m going to try other books by this author because the type of story in this book wasn’t for me.

I didn't find it as engaging as the rest of the books in the Pippaverse where I was constantly on the edge of my seat. But I did still really liked it: cried during act three before we got our happy ending. If you've got any buried feeling about parenting and inadequacy, this book will definitely put you in the feels!

Crazy good!

I really liked West and Daisy. They are so awesome together along with Remy! And all the family and friends and I just want to be among them! What a great ending to this series!
