Wow! What a terrific finale to the Bluewater Billionaires series. Daisy is so much fun. I love all the crazy theories she has about her grandmother and all the unique ways she finds to donate money. Her generosity is the stuff of legends. Daisy is so different from me, but also everything I want to be.

And don’t even get me started on West. So yummy! I already have a weak spot for Marines. But even so, his sweetness and compassion made him extra dreamy. The way he stepped up to take of Remy when no one else did had me hooked from the beginning. Plus, I loved getting to see all the guys from the series interact with each other.

The truth is, I normally avoid romances with pregnancy/baby tropes, but Pippa is the exception. She always writes books with the perfect balance of hilarity and swooning. My only annoyance is that it took so long for them to get together. Talk about a slow burn! But there was plenty of flirty banter along the way. Not to mention an inner monologue from West’s unmentionables. So there was never a shortage of entertainment.

Okay, I skimmed through this one because 1. West apparently has nuts that talks to him 2. Daisy was much more likable through the others' PoVs 3. West's nuts are talking ALL THE TIME, what the f is up with that??

The 2 stars are for the scenes with all the vagillionaires, West's family and the boys together.

So, if you are thinking about reading this series read the first book, The price of scandal, and then stop there. Because it is best that way if you want to leave with a nice memory and not a dream of what this amazing concept could have been, if it was done properly.

Different but fun

Daisy is one of those characters that was hard for me to like at first. I think I just needed to warm up to her, because on the surface she seems fake. But that facade is disguising a kind hearted woman lacking confidence despite being an extremely successful business woman.

The story itself is kind of a gender reversal. Daisy takes on some typical bookish billionaire male personality traits: she parties hard, is aggressively flirtatious, sleeps around with a lot of partners, and works a lot. No time for love, just a good time.

West, on the other hand, is a retired Marine whom wants that family life. He's not wealthy, but has his own business, enjoys caring for people, has a huge heart, and wants to settle down.

Fate brings them together when Daisy's cousin dies and leaves the guardianship of her baby in both of their hands. You can guess what happens in the story, but there were some great moments of self reflection by both characters. Especially in Daisy finding her place in a mothering role. I love that the characters in Pippa's books don't act in stereotypically gendered ways.

This book was different from the others and it's part of a series written by different authors, so maybe that gave this a different feel, but it still has the silliness and steam you'd expect from a Pippa book. I enjoyed this one.

I adored the Bluewater Billionaires series. Things I love about this book, and the other three:
- I adored that the women were all such good and loyal friends whose main goal was to be there for each other.
- The community animals, obviously. They're all super hilarious.
- The ode to the actual group of authors that wrote them. So. Cute.
- The women are all truly good people.

I wanted to love Crazy for Loving you after loving the other three. Truly, I really wanted to. But between West's balls' having opinions and him constatly voicing that and Daisy's dick-shaped everything (pool, paperweight, wall art, chandilier) it just was not up my alley. The ball thing especially kept ripping me out of the story and irritating me. The premise was also super weird, inheriting a baby from a stranger/estranged cousin.

This one would have been 2 stars for me if it weren't for West's and Daisy's families. The text chain with Wests' siblings was truly hilarious and filled with so much love. Daisy's mom is also funny and the nicknames given to the grandmother were wonderful. Despite the over-the-top genital theme this book is still filled with so much love and will definitely make you laugh.

I'm still a tiny bit confused why West was named in the will, but I'm just going with it because I really liked Daisy and West together. In the book, when they were just trading the baby back and forth without having much contact with each other, the flow was a little slow, but it picked back up soon. I also felt like we didn't hear much about the in-laws(?? I forgot their names) who took the baby? IDK! Anyway, pretty good book!
