This is a pretty unsettling story from start to end. It's a quick read, but it definitely delves deep into the abuse our main character faces so be aware of that going into it. The women of the story though are very resilient and strong characters that I found myself loving and rooting for so much.

I rushed through the second part of the book so I could read how it ends. The first half was slow, and the style of writing wasn't really for me. It was good enough to hook me to see how it ended, though, overall, I'm happy enough.
