I know I'm going to need to read this one more than once in order to fully grasp it. I'm embarrassed to be this old and only reading it for the first time, but also know that I'll be reading it again.

i probably would have gained more from this book had i read it earlier in my political education, but nonetheless liked the reinforcement of critical consciousness (which i knew about but probably wouldn't have been able to name prior to this book), and the stance against the banking model (which, as i start to begin to make programming for public libraries, is v relevant). i'm also not an auditory learning, so i probably should not have listened to the audiobook, but oh well.
