This is a best friends to more college romance, featuring Keene Waters and Aspen Kohl, and is a standalone book.
I was in rereading heaven today. I loved this one as much as I did the first time around. These two best friends were all over each other once Aspen realised he was attracted to his best friend. The chemistry between these two was fantastic.
Lots of dares, lots of spicy times and wow wee Aspen had a dirty mouth. But most of all, there was a whole lot of love building between these too. The pesky 3rd act breakup made me cry a little, no one likes to see someone pour their hearts out and fear get in the way.
Would reread this one again and again. And I’ve just seen Avery is in a book coming out this year. Sign me up.

I barely even noticed I was reading a baseball book 🤣 oh and who doesn’t love a double bi awakening

I just finished Don't You Dare by CE Ricci. It was the classic story: Let’s explore our sexuality, there’s no way this will break our hearts at some point, right?
The whole time I was reading I felt blessed to witness this love story. What got to me the most was the way Aspen and Keene always needed to touch ALL. THE. TIME. The little butterfly kisses, the whispers on the lips, the neck holding (DEAR LORD THE NECK HOLDING) and the caresses. It was just such a powerful way for the author to have us visualize them together and the bond that Pen and Kee share. I’m all for the snuggles and boy do those two deliver. Loved it.
Aspen got all my heart. I got attached to him very quickly and at first, I thought he would be more of a grumpy, dark guy but he turned out to be just a fluffly lovey dovey guy didn’t he? I kept thinking he was so silly and sweet, and sometimes I just wanted to shake him a little.
Once we reached the climax of the story, I totally knew my heart was going to be broken. I’m a cryer, sue me. Tears were shed. But don’t worry, I'm okay now.
Totally recommend.
