I read this book for a uni course about magic and mysticism and I did not expect to like it. But I did.
This book is wild and definitely an experience to read.
Especially interesting I found the connection to Bryusovs real romantic life and love triangle.
There is so much to unpack with this book that I'm not going to go into but there are many intertextual references and also mentions of real life people. Combines with lots of information about religion and demonic spirits.
