Somehow I am conflicted.
On one hand I loved the art styles, the colors and the lines are beautiful, and the characters felt like real people. They were all flawed people, I felt like I knew someone just like them in my life. On the other, I didn't really like any of them because, at the end of the day, they all found a way to hurt each other. So...

Beautifully watercolored from start to finish. The plot was interesting, melancholic meditation. But really it was about the atmosphere, the gorgeous scenery and the effortless, haunting depths of the character's faces.

3.5 stars.

The artwork of Manuele is absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the shapes and characters, which helped keep it all consistent and gave the spotlight over to the watercolour backgrounds and to the lovely colors. The art was athmospheric, breath taking and trying to stray away from the modern way that comicbooks are now: with tons of small small details.

That is pretty much all I can say that is positive since the story was shallow, the characters under-developed. The love story needed way more pages because it all felt like a flash - a colorful, semi-interesting idea left to collect dust.
