I have read this book four times in less then two years and I’m still not tired of it. I want to be Holland. I want to marry Wes. There are two things that would make this book even more awesome than it is:
1. Sex
2. If Wes fought the opposing team members that mouthed off Holland.

Light on hockey, heavy on teen romance. Though, the hockey energy is excellent and the love story was solid. All in all an enjoyable read.

Love a girl-on-guys team ya romance. It just hits all the right spots for me!

3.5!! Such a fun book. Loved the nicknames “Hot Sauce” and “Dutch”. Loved how our guy Wes was an athlete but was academically smart, I really enjoyed how the author mentioned how athletes aren’t expected to make good grades and sometimes seen as just athletes and nothing else.
The atmosphere was so nice. As a Canadian I really understood the feeling of cars not starting, scraping the windows, snow pants

The story was cute and short, and I liked it. It just didn’t really stick with me. It was a in between kind of read, but I don’t regret it.

Cute love story without any sexual content.

The 1980s called, and they want this book published in that decade.
This is a bad-feminist YA romance camouflaged as an actual feminist YA romance. It's the sort of romance that would have worked in the 80s but in 2019 ...
