A decent ending to the trilogy, though a slight decline in tension from book 2. As in the first book, the danger quotient slides backwards to allow more time for the emotional journey of the leads. While the scenes with Zoe’s son Simon are sweet, there is also an element of unbelievability in how quickly we believe a grown man would attach to a child that he has known for only a month. All that said, Zoe’s grappling with her upbringing is well done and honest. Brad has little to do but admit he’s in love; we never really establish what drew him home, what’s his Uber wealthy family is like, if they’ll accept Zoe…he’s merely there as her romantic foil. But with characters we like, it’s a well plotted finale with a healthy dose of happy endings for all.

You know I save 5 stars for books that make me feel like a better person for having read them, and I can't really say that about this one, but this whole series was just so enjoyable, and I loved this book especially. "The Sex" talks made it a 5. I loved it.

This whole trilogy is juvenile. The heroines go from well-thought-out reservations to “the hell with it, marry me” in the blink of an eye… no explanations needed, apparently. Even if I read something as pure entertainment, which is the purpose of this trilogy, I like things to make a modicum of sense.
