They had so much chemistry and it wasn’t drawn out.

this is one of those few instances where the show actually is better than the book for a variety of reasons. however, seeing the source material from where kate & anthony’s original love story is from, it was very sweet to see just how close of a match they are with their riveting banter and small moments of vulnerability. i’m glad they found each other and got to have their own happy ending, despite all their fears & reservations that made them think otherwise. it was a very satisfying turn of events for them both.

Significantly better than Book 1 for me, but I found how the 'enemies to lovers' trope was written to be a little difficult - it made Anthony seem pretty much unforgivable in his actions towards Kate, but yet everything ends up happily ever after!

Anthony and Kate have great chemistry and banter throughout the entire book.
The mutual pining really adds to the tension between the two. Definitely recommend that fans of the show Bridgerton read The Viscount Who Loved Me- I honestly prefer the plot from the book than that of Season 2.
