I have had this book onto my to read List for quite a while I absolutely love Darren Shan book so this was a must read for me I absolutely love the main character in this one and the story I was so happy that he had a relative that knew what he was going through at first I didn't really like Billy I really liked how do you are you I really liked how do Grubbs Found the hidden passage way in the cellar what is soon is the invited Billy over to try and catch his uncle who he thought was changing into a werewolf I knew that it was going to be really not is uncle I was surprised to find out that I was surprised to find out that grubbs father was Billy's father to I really did think it would've been his uncle that was Billy's father I really love this book it was one of them what you wish you didn't have to put down but obviously work and everything gets in the way of that that's why I give this book 5 stars

Enjoyed reading this in middle school and recently read it again. Nostalgia might be talking, but I rly enjoyed this book! It's not my favourite and some parts of the books feel a bit dragged out strangely enough, but it's a good read if not slightly ridiculous, in the best way!
