I’m not really into romance books but this was fun! I love that the characters are science-y people. That they are all smart and badasses. I like the writing since it made me laugh a lot of times. I find it hard to find books that make me laugh but this one did which is great. The story is interesting and it made me want to flip the page more since it’s intriguing. I devoured 3/4 of it in like one sitting. Overall a fun read!

This book… wow! I’ve had it in my library forever after a friend gifted it to me and let me just say, I absolutely regret not reading it sooner! It’s definitely become one of my absolute favorites.

I heard that this book is Reylo fanfic, and tbh, I’ve never watched any Star Wars movies. I know, I know! Regardless, the MCs’ dynamic was to die for - very much grumpyxsunshine. I loved the academic science background; it added so much to the plot and really grounded this story. The pace felt fast (in a very good way), but perhaps that was because I flew through because I couldn’t stop reading!

Very much a happy ending as well! I rated the whole book five stars and honestly couldn’t pick a flaw out of I was asked. The spice is a healthy medium with one or two descriptive scenes and some tension throughout.

10/10 recommend!!

giving it a 3 but its really a 2.5 for me… the added courtesy is because of the last 1/4 of the book which was admittedly pretty cute and good (& sexy). i wish more of the book was like that!! i feel like it took until 70% for adam to actually express an emotion which is like believe me i love a grump. i love a grump x sunshine more than anyone, but you literally have to give the girls something. he was so cardboard personality which was really hard for me to get over in addition to picturing adam driver. but i saw a booktoker saying they really enjoyed the last quarter of the book after feeling the same thing i was feeling in the first half, and then i saw some really cute fan art (https://twitter.com/dalooch_/status/1472837088760401925?s=21) which allowed me to picture the characters differently and finish the book! So I am super grateful to the artist. I also wish it didn’t end where it did!! i feel like we just got to their connection and I was finally into them, and then the book ended )-: but that might also be my preferences as a reader. i just hate miscommunication!!! so this was not for me. maybe more review later? felt like there was also some weird white woman character stuff going on in here but i was glad for the diverse set of characters.
