More like a 4.5 out of 5. I enjoyed the heck out of this book!

Rewritten version from 2019 is at least readable, original was not. I really like the authors other works but this one is still a little rough

This book was definitely worth the wait. I missed the first publication and the author removed the book from circulation for a massive edit. While the science was a bit unbelievable, and considering this was his first book, it was quite an entertaining read.

Not bad, could have been better. Bit of a cheap knock-off of Terry Pratchett's "Long Earth" at times. Interesting characters sometimes, but at other times they act like cardboard cutouts. Once again, there is a character who constantly references science fiction, and then points out the foolishness of doing so. His friends all react with annoyance at the overuse of references - what leads anyone to assume that readers will not react the same way?
