It's not often that #2 in a series is better than #1, but it's the case here. I'm eager for the concluding volume.

This had lots of action: there's a suspected murderer on board, one of our main characters is constantly in the run as a stowaway, and our two young women begin to question their upbringing and family roles.

A page turner for grade 4-6.

Read it to my 6th grade class. Not exciting enough for them until the end, and I honestly agree with them. Kinda bleh for a book about the titanic. Also, Jack the Ripper ???? What was that random plot line, a little unnecessary

It seems almost everyone aboard the Titanic have something to hide. Now that the crew knows there is a stowaway on board Paddy is desperate for a place to hide. Alfie has discovered a horrifying secret about another passenger. Juliana's father finally reveals the reason she has come on this business trip with him, and Sophie wishes her suffragette mother would stop alienating the other guests. In the meantime the Titanic continues on its doomed journey.

The Titanic hits the iceberg is this entry, but that is practically background compared to the other action and intrigue happening. In fact there's almost too many things happening in this story, the Jack the Ripper storyline is especially unnecessary. Otherwise it's as fast-paced as the first, and leaves the reader eager for the final installment.

This was another read for my homebound student. I dare say I enjoyed reading all three books in the series. It made me realize I don't know about the Titanic and should probably some non fiction titles about it! A very quick read, but enjoyable.

Such and improvement since the last book! Probably because I was actually in the mood to read it haha. Anyways, it took me less than 24 hours to read this because of how intriguing I found it!

The characters are super likable in my opinion (other than Sophie... sorry I just had to say it) But I love Paddy, Julie, and Alfie. Though in my opinion, I loved Paddy the most bro. Imagine being someone poor who steals and STILL have a good heart. Ahhhh.

The cliff hanger at the end made my jaw drop. I'll start reading the third book today!! A finish to a series, yay! I'm sad to see this series go but at the same time, I wanna see if theres a HEA of something sad that's worth me crying over.

~

SUMMARY: AMAZING character (Ily Paddy), super good plot, so much better than the first book, and a great cliff hanger if that motivates you to read the next book.

See you in my next review haha

Quite enjoyable. Better than the first since it started already with things happening. Love the characters, they are great. Can't wait to see how it plays out.... besides the sinking of course. :)
