Liv Zander has officially crowned herself as one of my favorite dark fantasy authors. While I loved Feathers So Vicious more than I loved this book, I still feel like this story was a solid read (even though a few plot points were predictable for me and some more editing was needed to be done). Insta-lust and insta-obsession are not my favorite tropes, but Zander handled them with finesse. I really enjoyed Enosh and Ada’s characters. Their banter was so witty!

Proceed with caution if you want to read this book. There are many triggers you should take into account before you start reading it.
But even so I ended up enjoying it. It has a captivating story, a wicked and depraved god, a strong and stubborn heroine, very steamy scenes, a pretty well done world building, it's well written and quite fast paced.
Also, it ended in a massive cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next book
