“You’re mine, Ada.” His dark whisper against my ear pebbled my skin.
“My servant, my plaything, my woman. I’ll never let you go.”

The spice wasn’t spicing and the plot wasn’t plotting for me.

The make main character had no substance but forced degradation and sex! He was written like a log🙄

This was one of those that I didn’t know what I was getting into. It was dark and creepy and just awesome! I loved it. I cannot wait to read the next book!

Totally my type of book, may not be for everyone it is very dark. Gives a lot of halloween/fantasy vibe and I really love the world even if its not fully detailed. Great book.

After seeing all of those booktok videos, I was a bit intrigued. Not going to lie - went into this hoping it would bring me out of my slump and it 100% did. Didn't expect to get this invested into it but here I am - wishing the second book would get here sooner

Screaming cuz the ending. I haven’t read a sequel or even another book in a series in years and I’m already almost done with the second one.
