This was a great ending to the series! I did not see that twist at the end, and I'm happy of all the character development we got. The battle was insane, and I didn't expect it to carry on for most of the book but it surely kept me entertained and wondering what would happen next!

there’s no words in the english dictionary that could ever describe the emotions that i’m feeling right now.

wow. percy jackson is definitely one of the best characters i’ve ever seen in the history of literature. Rick Riordan was a genius with this ending. i spent the whole 5 books thinking that the prophecy was about percy that i didn’t even realize what was in front of me the whole time. the whole thing with Luke, his backstory, everything. literally perfect. he’s one of the best antagonists i’ve ever seen and i have so much empathy for him it’s insane.

can’t wait to read the rest of the series and see more about the seven heroes!

anyways i don’t usually do this but here’s some of my favorite quotes in this book. it was so good y’all im sorry i have to put some quotes in here:

“The world was collapsing, and the only thing that really mattered to me was that she was alive.”

“Before I could lose my courage, I said, “Don’t I get a kiss for luck? It’s kind of a tradition, right?”
