I think I'm going to have to ponder on this book for a bit. There are definitely some interesting themes of capitalistic consumption and the contrast between the mainstream image and the actual experience of being gay.
The presentation is so unhinged and darkly whimsical. I think I kind of loved this book for the fact it made me say "what the f*ck" on every page.

This book doesn’t make a strong enough point to even label it offensive… it’s just terrible. I wish I could return it.
