Interesting look at our national bird through the history of our country. While it rambled into a lot of tangential topics, it did cover a lot of natural and human history – that folks thought eagles could steal babies, uses of their image in military and other endeavors (its voice is not fierce, so The Colbert Report used an eagle image and a hawk cry), the creative ways folks go to study them, multiple efforts to save them.
