A dark and gritty setting, that held a story with many twists and turns. It is totally ridiculous that each part of the plan went as it did, but it kept me turning the page and hoping that the next part would go well.
I loved the characters and their relationships. I was rooting for each of them at every turn.

I love this book so much. I read it for the first time in January and already had to do a re-read. Extraordinary characters, exhilarating plot, slowburn romance. So so good.

I finally fell into the Six of Crows hype after putting it off for so long and my gosh this book didn't disappoint me. It sure lived up to the hype for me. Honestly what kept it from being a 5-star was due to how confused I was on how their world works and trying to imagine everything that was happening. I did not read the Shadow and Bone trilogy prior to this book so that might be on me. Although I still think you can read them separately; however, for me, I do like to understand and gain some context on what I'm reading. Overall I really enjoyed this book and all its characters. I'll definitely be continuing on to Crooked Kingdom.
