It definitely filled the hole that A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder left in my life.
I loved how this focused on two girls who come from opposite walks of life. Two girls who would never willingly spend time together, more than likely, because of their lives. You see the good and the bad, and you see a really awesome friendship bloom.
This book was more than just a great murder mystery, it was a story of true friendship, and I think we desperately need more of that.
I thought I know who the killer was, and in classic Emily fashion I was wrong. And then I thought I had a new theory and that was wrong too 🤦♀️. I loved the twists and turns, the narration, and the constant connection to Agatha Christie.
Very good book. Definitely looking forward to the next one, whenever that may be.

That being said, I think it was slightly longer than it needed to be? At times, the story seemed to drag a little. But it all lead to a fun conclusion, one that will definitely keep you on your feet.
