Review:

It was a really good story and the plot was very interesting.

What really confused and a little annoyed me was the combination of the personality of the h. Yes, she was really kick ass and gave bad bitch vibes but was very naive and sheltered. She was more of a gentle soul and was more ashamed of her skills. It isn't a bad thing but her lack of confidence was a little annoying also because it doesn't change throughout the book.

The H had his reasons to become a hunter but his continuous battle and his motivation to keep the training he was taught was never explained. Yes, it was said that he lost his humanity to the job of being the huntsman but his constant scolding to himself was a little sad to read. What was annoying about him was the expectations he held to the h. He expected too much of her and when she couldn't perform what he wanted, he scolded and reprimanded her even when it was misplaced and he knew it wasn't her fault.

The story in general, in my opinion, was too shortly structured. If anything, it could be easily made into a movie without having to leave out details. I wish the story was longer and the world of this novel was more explored.

This is a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood with a darker twist and I have mixed feelings.

Overall, I like the concept and how it evolved but somehow it was very hard to reach the end -I was stopping every 20 percent because I was losing interest-.

There is a Grandmother who fought in the war with the Fae, a pack of werewolves, an army of Huntsman, and a crazy King. A lot of concepts that work perfectly but even if the plot moves fast, something in the structure kept dragging this book for me.

At some point, the plot became predictable but our heroine, Ruby, it's interesting enough -especially when teams up with Shadow-.
On the romance side, it was okay, the Hunstman it's a good romantic interest even if the development was a little rushed.

I like it but on paper, I should love it and it wasn't the case.
