I'm overworked, stressed, tired and dealing with health issues (not just mine), so no wonder I am in a reading slump, my brain just can't concentrate. I thought reading a short, sweet story from one of my favorite authors would help and boy, I was right. Am I crying? Yes. Am I happy? Also yes.

So short, but so sweet. Basically, a do-gooder schemes to give his friend a nice wedding when it has to be moved up in order for her dying father to attend, and he enlists her brother to help. This is one of those little gems that I wish was a lot longer, but that I will reread when I just need a nugget of goodness. (I also ended up with Let’s Face the Music and Dance stuck in my head for days after.)
