I really enjoyed this second chance romance. It's not overly long but manages to feel like you're getting a much longer read. A lot happens but the story never feels rushed, it flows really well. For me, it could have benefited from a bit more depth regarding the circumstances of their relationship breakdown originally & I would have liked to find out what eventually happened with Lexi's brother. Overall though, a great read that will fill a couple of hours really well.

Normally I’m a sucker for any Carolyn Faulkner book (they’re my guilty pleasure) but I really could not get into this one. The dialogue was stilted and forced. The characters seemed flat and inauthentic. Overall everything worked together for me to rush through to the end so I could be finished with it.
