The pace was medium bordering with slow, it was an interesting read but nothing would happen for big chunks, or it would happen in almost anticlimactic ways. The writing overall is good though so I was fine with reading all of it.
Adam was unlikable at first, then I warmed up to him, then by the end i disliked him again. I get the realistic flaws of this character, but also😐🤚.
I could tell early on who was the person behind the murder, even if not directly having done it. However it was interesting to read the execution of it. Also Cassie and Sam getting married was kind of shocking for some reason. And the fact that they never spoke again w Adam😐. ok. Also kinda hate and kinda love how we didnt get closure on Peter and Jamies dissapearance, like, come on, it was given more importance than Katy, my heart was in it!! Also, the idea that Adam might have killed them himself….iconic, i need to know what happened.
