A classic but so fast paced it was hard to tell what was happening.  An absolute fever dream of a book

this was a bookclub read and it was soo hard to get through.
though I generally liked the idea of the book and its story and how it paved some of the way for the sci-fi/cyberpunk genre, it just was so confusing and tedious for me to get through.
it took more than half of the book to get me really hooked and I'm just glad it's over.

Unfortunately I feel like this falls too much into the science category for my liking. I love cyberpunk as games, movies, and comics, but I don't think I like cyberpunk as literature.

Extremely challenging book, that was very clearly a visionary example for its time. I will be unpacking and re-reading this for years to come, I can already tell.

Books like this don’t come along often.
