What can I say? The end of a seriously fantastic series. And 13 was no let down! And the novella 'From Russia, with Love' also included? *happy sigh* I'm really sad there won't be any more full books in Kelley's Otherworld. But at least it's been a great ride and there are more shorts to come!

It may not have been wise to leave such a huge gap from starting and finishing this book but that's how the cookie crumbles. I'll say this for Armstrong: her characters and situations are memorable because I had no trouble picking up exactly where I left and clearly remembering what was going on in the story. Sadly, it was easy to put down because I didn't really care.

Though I've come to like Savannah she's not my favourite of Armstrong's heroines and I found myself engaged but easily distracted. The story seems to wrap very quickly which I found anticlimactic. In the end, it's as good as any place to leave the series. I'll definitely read more when Armstrong decides to return to the series but I hope she picks another character. I've had enough of the witch for a while.

Oh, man, this was a really great book, I just loved rereading it, and the whole trial, an angel tried to stop it (Eve) her dad tried to stop it, and then Balaam tried to stop it. Kinda funny in that so many people, and yet it still went on going, kinda. And there were chapters narrated by almost all that have been narrators in the books (only Robyn, and she was only in the 1 book, and not the MC) and yeah, that was so good!

Oh, this was a great ending to the series, loved the chapters that covered all the other female narrators, or at least, most of them!! Can't wait for the short story anthology for 2014!!!

Not a bad ending to her run...above average urban fantasy with below average sex and gore, just what I like on the rare occasions that I read something like this. Good treadmill reading. I'm kind of curious about her YA fiction series now.

All's well that ends well. Thanks for years of Otherworld fun. I look forward to more Nadia Stafford books and whatever else comes next.

Kelleys books are always well written and paced and this was no exception. However I never really got into the story and couldn't really connect with Savannah. A good read but not her best by a long way. I am sad that this is the end of the otherworld series tho though as I have really enjoyed getting to know the serious characters and seeing them grow (:

As the final installment of her Women of the Otherwold, this book lived up to the hype. And as a complete and utter fan of Clayton Danvers, I'm glad that he and Elena played a larger role in the later half of the book. She even left room to revisit if she chooses. Please choose to revisit! I'm sad to see them go but I'm also hopeful that maybe, just maybe I might get a chance to see all my favorites again.

Thirteen adds up to one heck of a creative, pulse-pounding, page-turning novel that’s the perfect way to cap off a beloved series that Armstrong acknowledges she hasn’t put away forever. There will be future Otherworld stories in upcoming anthologies, and she may decide to add a future installment one day, but for now, I couldn’t think of a better way to end things off. It’s been a bumpy albeit exciting ride, and it’s been one hell of a journey.

A good ending to the series Women of the Otherworld. It left open a potential future for short stories of another book someday, while wrapping up some big things. I especially enjoyed the bonus short story at the end.
I will miss this series, but will keep reading whatever Kelley Armstrong writes!
