This book is now one of my favourites. I'm sad that I got it from the library and now have to return it and buy my own copy. It reminds me of Bunny by Mona Awad in the way it's written. The content is not very similar other than that it's all about women and relationships between women and taking control of our lives.
Made me hungry with all of the food talk! I was reading it in the middle of the night and one character was eating pancakes, so I got up and made pancakes at 3am. It was lovely.
I hope I can get my hands on everything else Lara Williams has written and read them soon.

I heard so much hype about this book and to be honest, I wish I hadn’t because it really set me up for what I thought I would find. It frankly made me feel disgusting, sickened and ruined my appetite, but I wish I had given up because I didn’t get the ending I was hoping for – as in any kind of satisfaction at all. Didn’t connect with the characters and didn’t really care by the end what happened to any of them.
