This book was definitely a let down for me. It had everything I wanted, cults, ghost, death.
Issue I had.
1. The writing. There is just too mundane description and so repetitive.
2. I found there was no real difference between the adult father's personality and the preteen daughter.
3. I wish there was less time repeating how evil the mother was and how weird the dad was as a teen and more time with the cult, and more explaining the beliefs and where it all came from. I will be honest maybe I missed those details because I did find my self skim reading over the repeating and over describing.
