Small but mighty, this short poetry collection is extraordinarily powerful. Lisa Alletson beautifully captures a sweeping range of emotion and experience with a deft mastery of language. Raw, compelling and honest, Good Mother Lizard is a fiercely vital collection.

These poems really spoke to me. They're dark and raw and honest, as well as incredibly descriptive and beautifully constructed. Personal favourites are A Year of Antipsychotics and Palliative. Would highly recommend.
