This is my first Christopher Brookmyre but it definitely won’t be the last. Slightly slow to get started but once it got going there were a ton of twists and turns and it had me properly hooked. Also loved the Scottish/Glasgow humour!
The "Hot Space" of Brookmyre's output. Only barely connected to the rest of his work. That's this decade's revisit out the way, at least.

I picked this up on a trip through Heathrow airport. (At the time, fewer of his books were available in the US, so there was actually some reason there. ) Sometimes books make the best souvenirs. :)
