This was a good conclusion to the series. I loved the emotional turmoil that Aspen went through when she become a vampire because it made sense. This was absolutely what she didn't want and she needed to adjust. I also liked that everything wrapped up nicely. Aspen was able to be a mother like she wanted (fuck you Cassara). And Luka built a church for her because she wanted to get married in a church. So cute. This was such a good series.

The final book in the Vampire Hunter Society Trilogy. I enjoyed it just as much; it was a lovely end to the series, drawing everything to a close and wrapping it all up nicely.

Luka and Aspen were able to defeat Maz and Morgan. Aspen took down Morgan for Luka, where he took out Maz for her!

Loved being able to get more of Demi, Sawyer and the rest of the crew. It made it all the better having them in the series and making them friends with Aspen.

Aspen finally having her happily ever after with Luka was such a sweet ending, the opening of the Supernatural Protection Guild was a full circle moment seeing all their hard work pay off and then both Luka and Aspen meeting their daughter, after Liv had carried her for Aspen was so wholesome. I’m so glad they were able to get what they wanted even tho they both had a hard time getting there.

This book started so many different plot lines that were resolved just a couple chapters or even just a couple pages later.
For instance, her becoming a vampire and then never talking about the trauma of it again. Then her getting magic fae powers in the last quarter - that she uses once?! WTF. And let’s not even discuss how easily the big bads of the novel were killed.

I enjoyed this series. The characters were interesting, and the writing was fairly well done compared to others in the genre. I felt this was a fairly clean and tame young adult level book, which is rare in this genre, so that alone is nice.

Truly enjoyed the series.

I love the worlds and characters this author creates for us to enjoy. The story has serval twists and turns and a great HEA. The friendship between Aspen and Lvi is stronger than most sister hoods. I enjoyed the series. 18+

Amazing

This whole series was a wonderful read. I stayed up till 2 am so I could finish the entire series in one day. I just couldn’t put it down. I have loved Luka since we met him, and I’m so glad he got his own story. Love Aspen and the growth she goes through throughout this series. I was hooked, hence reading all three books in one day. Definitely a fun read.

Vampires don't poop?!?!?!

The Dark bond is the third and final installment of the Vampire Hunter Series. Stone takes you through the last chapter of Luka and Aspen's story as Aspen struggles with her new change. They face multiple hurdles and barriers to free the slaves and make it alive to their wedding day.

The beginning of this novel killed me. I couldn't stop laughing at the exchanges between Luka and Aspen. That being said I did find the sheer amount of different events going on to be slightly overwhelming. When the characters finally reached the height of one conflict it was resolved rather quickly and without much suspense. I also found the constant foreshadowing Aspen seemed to be obsessed with before the final climax to be slightly irritating and unnecessary. It took some of the build-up away from the climax. Overall it was a great read with excellent detail and characters to really build an enticing world to immerse yourself in.
