Refreshing my memory of the stories since I read the novels so many years ago.
This one was funny and has my fave character the hundred handed one!

Oof apparently this did not follow in the footsteps of [b: The Titan's Curse: The Graphic Novel|17586834|The Titan's Curse The Graphic Novel (Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Graphic Novels, #3)|Robert Venditti|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1369968927l/17586834._SX50_.jpg|25108229]

Gosh dang it I wanted this to be good, but lowkey it was boring and not funny, which is all these graphic novels need to do. This did not. Hence the rating. Oh well.

Did the artwork improve in this book?

It's still not how I picture them all, but I do love being back in the world of Percy Jackson.

I loved this new art style! I thought it was more fitting for the content and also the character designs are a massive improvement, imo. The kids actually look like kids and Percy's most notable features (his eyes) are far more noticeable than before. The colors are gorgeous and there were some panels where it looked like the colors were glowing?!? I wasn't a fan of the rough, sketchy lines at times, especially when the characters were seated in the background. They looked more like an idea of a person, their features absent or lazily drawn. The action is much more engaging and the pace is really picking up. Some pages had too many speech bubbles that slowed everything down, but I was still invested. This might be my favorite one so far!
