I will acknowledge that the author has a good writing style and that some people might relate to the book. However, it’s not for everyone.
Messy drama filled holiday queer story filled with mind games, insecurity, partying, quality time with friends, and unclear non monogamous situations. If that’s your cup of tea, I love that for you! It’s just not my cup of tea. And a few spice scenes.
Personally, I have avoided building friendships with people who have a similar mindset like the antagonist. The book is not my cup of tea but I still gave it a chance.

I wanted to like this read, but I was just forcing myself to finish it.
The worst people you’ve ever met get together for the holidays to be incredibly boring and toxic. I get that Something Deep and Important and Darkly Funny is supposedly happening here but I really wish that instead every character had a good therapist.
