This book was so cute. I loved Gwen and Oskar’s grumpy sunshine relationship so much and the dual pov. My only gripe is I wish it was a little more of a slow burn as it felt just a little rushed. I also felt that Gwen’s abilities kind of took a back seat to the story and I would have loved to see more of her learning to master it.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. Somehow the romance fell a bit flat for me—I think this is because of the words used to describe spice and the quickly flipped switch from 0 to 100% on intimacy.
