This book is so cute. The illustrations are adorable. This is perfect for fall and great for kids who are learning how to read.
Duck and Goose search all over to find a pumpkin! They look in lots of silly places before they find one. Very little text which follows a predictable pattern, making it a good read for very young children. Adorable illustrations.

I don't like this book too much because I think it helped Melanie learn to say "no" to any question that is asked. Cute when we are reading the book, not so cute the rest of the time.

I was looking for some books for a Halloween storytime that includes children who are preschoolers of all ages. Add to the age difference the fact that for many of these English is not the language spoken in their homes... You can't miss with Duck and Goose! Children love these characters, the art, and the simple story. I was happy to find this.

Apparently Mini-Me has been reading this in her preschool class, so she picked it out from the library. After we were done reading it together, she took over and "read" it herself - and the text is simple enough that she did pretty well. :)
