Eric is hands down the one of the grumpiest characters I’ve ever read. Especially when the only person to break his heart ends up being his new partner. So they will have to get over there past so they can work together and possibly get the happy ending they were always suppose to have. This book is super sweet and I fell in love with these men right from the start. I can’t wait for another great book from this author.

I absolutely adored this one.
Second chance romances are one of my favourite tropes, especially when they're done well like this one.
It's a fine line to walk between making the reasons things didn't work when they were younger into something serious enough, but not too obnoxious that you'd wonder why they should try again.
Here it was a number of different things in combination and it totally worked for me .
