I love Raina Telgemeier and I love the Babysitters Club books, so.....I really loved this book. I read the entire BSC series when I was younger, probably more than once. As I was reading this graphic novel version of The Truth About Stacey, I realized that I was totally engrossed with the girls and their story, just the way that I used to be when I read the original books by Ann M. Martin.
The illustrations were full of life, the story was compelling (again), and now that I'm a parent I wish that I knew some kids who would make their own babysitters club. I am a middle school librarian and this book is too young for my students, but I will definitely be recommending it to my daughter when she is a little older! What a fun book to read!

not as good as the first one but still enjoyable! happy to get to the next one!
This one I think loses something in translation to graphic novel. I feel it’s a little rushed, in the way the chapter book isn’t.
The second graphic novel in the BSC series. This one focused on Stacey and her history in NY before coming to Stonybrook. Part of the book also focuses on how she needs to learn to deal with her diabetes. I loved these books as a child and I am enjoying the opportunity to read them again in this format! I enjoyed this book very much!
