A fun trip down memory lane, I'm reading the series with one of my niece's.

I actually read the graphic novel version of this book, illustrated by Raina Telgemeier. Gotta have things to chat about with my elementary library buddies!

Really enjoying reading these reboots of the babysitters club! I love Raina Telgemeier's artwork, and I keep remembering what I thought about the various plot points when I read the originals as a kid. (Example: I remember thinking it was very unfair of Mrs. Newton to want an older sitter for her baby, but they as an adult, I wouldn't leave my newborn with a twelve year old either, no matter how responsible she was.)

lovely! nostalgic read and actually brilliant representation of chronic illness/medical advocacy.

I'm actually really enjoying these adaptations!!!

Competition is starting to cut into the girls business and I loved the rivalry unfolding with the older girls!

A true friend and a baby-sitter!

8+ Talks about diabetes and the struggles of dealing with people who you thought were your friends.

I think this graphic novel is great! I was so surprised when I found out that the BSC books had been turned into graphic Novels. I knew I had to read at least one, as an homage to my childhood. When I did, it felt as if I was being transported right back. it felt exactly the same as the book, but now with pretty illustrations to boot!

The Babysitters Club books have always had such great messages for children in them, so I think it's great that those same messages are now being presented in different formats to reach even more readers.
